For the period of one month, we presented in the very heart of Cluj the fanciful housing visions of 31 4th graders, transformed into 3d visuals by our artists.
The exhibition showcasing the fascinating visions of the children the was organized by beyond visual arts, the foundation de-a arhitectura, arch. Ciprian Simon and the Museum for National History of Transilvania in collaboration with Nişte Oameni in the very heart of Cluj, at the open air public installation 10X10, that is dedicated to constantly host content of major interest for the urban community.
We take pride in the fact that our project’s subject matter has been deemed worthy of showcasing in a prominent public location with significant exposure by the Council of our vibrant and rapidly expanding city. This recognition is attributed to the project’s focus on enhancing the urban-scale capacity of the cultural sector to deliver educational and culturally enriching activities for children in an engaging and easily comprehensible manner.
The publicly accessible exhibition enriched the cultural and educative spectrum of our city by playfully showcasing the visions of young children. It has attracted a wide audience through the central location and the charming content of each single work – additionally offering also a glimpse behind the scenes of the event, highlighting the young generation´s potential and the responsibility of us adults, in guiding and supporting them to shape the future.
On our vernissage day we have met the children and been charmed by their enthusiasm to discover their own visions exhibited in the center of their very own city! Just imagine their joy to have had the opportunity to give interviews to several main local and national tv stations that documented the event!
