Upholding Our Core Values
The moment we started our ecological commitment marks a significant stride in upholding our core values: faith in the human capacity to improve the future, and the corresponding responsibility to act upon it.
Given the context of Romania being situated with 27,3 % below the average european percentage of 32,4 % of areas covered by forests, our decision to dedicate ourselves to reforestation became blantantly obvious.
Winning the VWArtclub 1st Prize as Best Archviz Package of the Year 2022 marks the start of our ecological engagement. We were happy to pledge the awarded sum as our personal contribution, dedicated to co-funding reforestation initiatives in Romania.
In our collaboration with „Crestem Romaina Impreuna“ or „Together We Grow Romania“ we discovered shared values and intentions, so we joined forces with their noble mission to reforest the country through their long term initiative “Planteaza in Romania” or „Plant in Romania“.
We took the opportunity to take action by a part of our team joining this fall‘s reforestation event and together with 200 like minded volunteers, we achieved to plant almost 8.500 acacia and ash seedlings. This effort opened up the prospect of nurturing a small forest on an entire hill.
Fun, fresh air, and a delectable gulyás lunch prepared by the chef were the ingredients of a great day!
We take pride in having taken our very first step within such a noble endeavour, and to have become part of a remarcable enterprise that engaged so far over 16.000 volunteers, resulting in the flourishing of more than 400.000 trees.
