Elevating Our Cohesive Workplace Culture
In the midst of high building pressures in our city center, we have decided to completely remodel our office site and convert it into an urban garden.
True to our holistic approach, redefining our garden as a multifunctional green oasis is yet another step we took to elevate our cohesive workplace culture.
This endeavor is a long transformative journey that subsequently results into emphasizing the role of green spaces in the fabric of urban living.
By strenghtening the connection of our workplace with nature we aim to define our headquarter as a home that increasingly nurtures and fosters creativity.
Step by step we have created a divesrity of areas: raised beds to grow our own vegetables, a canopy as refuge for tranquility, a spacious terrace for coffee and lunch breaks, a small terraced open air amphiteatre and lot of free space for enjoying fresh air and to host our barbeque gatherings. All this is taking place under the careful supervision of Blacky, our four-legged companion, who has found a cosy home in our garden.
From an ecological standpoint, our urban garden reflects our environmental engagement, by playing a pivotal role in biodiversity conservation: within short time, it became a refuge for pollinators and small fauna, contributing to the overall health of the urban ecosystem.
This transformation is more than an aesthetic upgrade; it’s a conscious effort to make urban spaces functional, sustainable, and conducive to community engagement, redefining the traditional garden into a dynamic, multipurpose urban oasis.
The first stage of the transformation was marked by the tumultuous phase of organising the different trades of the building site, regarding the complete reshaping of the topography to define each designated area.
By tending to our own self built raised beds, we cultivate a sense of responsibility towards the environment and our well-being, by discovering the transformative power of nurturing life from seed to harvest. Not to mention the delicious meals that we prepare from the flovourful vegetables as a welcomed award to our dedication and passionate care.
By embracing the concept of an outdoor terrace, we transcend the conventional boundaries of office space and symbolize our commitment to cultivating a workplace culture that values teamwork and encourages open communication, by fostering a vibrant and collaborative work environment.
