PRACTICA. Visionaries Blueprint

Entitled “PRACTICA. Visionaries Blueprint” the University for Arts and Design Cluj – Department for Design – organized a premiere. Aiming to increase the interconnection between the educational material and the inputs of synergetic industries, the University offered the students a series of events held by industry professionals.

In this initial format, PRACTICA aims to establish a contemporary and eagerly anticipated learning environment by connecting students with professionals in the design field. Over a span of two weeks, industry experts, including interior designers, object designers, graphic designers, architects, CGI artists, catalysts, suppliers, and collaborators, led discussions on diverse topics, conduced workshops, organized site visits, opened their showrooms, and hosted various contests with exceptional prizes.

The “PRACTICA. Visionaries Blueprint” event encompassed three distinct categories: Designer Talks, Industry Engagement, and Crafting Collaboration. Each category showcased members of the design community eager to connect with future professionals and actively contribute to their training. The PRACTICA experience was designed to be unparalleled; for two weeks, students gained access to invaluable insights from prominent figures in the field, both from Cluj and across the country.

beyond visual arts was honored to feature its co-founding partner, Zsolt Szeibert, and 3D Artist Mihai Macavei as lecturers at the Designer Talks panel of the “PRACTICA. Visionaries Blueprint” event.

Over a three hour lecture, the students came to know the career journey of our studio together with our operating methods and our entrepreneurial development. We have enjoyed their eager curiosity in our Q&A session that transformed into a vivid discussion.
